Hi, I'm Boz! With over 10 years of teaching experience, I offer fun, supportive lessons tailored to each individual - whether you're just starting out or looking to develop your technique and musicality.
I can guide students through graded exams, or take a more creative route focused on playing by ear, improvisation, and groove. We can cover a range of genres including rock, pop, funk, and jazz.
Lessons take place at Super Unison Studios in Peckham but I also offer home visits across SE postcodes. Sessions further afield can be arranged, subject to a small travel supplement.

Lesson Prices
Lessons are £40 for 30 minutes, £50 for 45 minutes, and £65 for 60 minutes. Most students take 45 or 60 minute sessions depending on age and experience.
About
Boz Martin-Jones graduated with First Class Honours (BA Jazz Drum Kit) from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2018. Since then, he has performed across the UK and Europe at prestigious venues including Ronnie Scott’s, Queen Elizabeth Hall, and Paradiso. He has also recorded live sessions at Maida Vale Studios with Skinny Pelembe & Beth Orton for Radio 6 Music, and performed live on Radio 3 with Jonny Mansfield’s Elftet. In 2025 he performed in and recorded for the film Everybody Digs Bill Evans, which won the Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival.
Boz is a dedicated educator, currently teaching at Eaton Square School and offering private lessons. His teaching combines technical skill development with creativity, tailored to each student’s goals and musical interests.
